About us

Hi! I am Sheila! :) Carson and I were both born in the Florida Keys. We are obsessed with nature and capturing life.

Photography and videography have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My dad has been a professional videographer my entire life. Today he primarily films for Shark Week, but throughout his career he’s worked on productions for Jackass, Wildboyz, National Geographic, Animal Planet, and many others.

My own journey began when I was 13 years old. One day my dad sat me down in a room at my grandpa’s house, opened up an editing program, and simply said, “Edit something.” I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. For hours I clicked buttons, experimented, and slowly figured out how to add music and piece together clips of sharks, wildlife, and underwater footage. By the time I walked out of that room, something had changed. I saw the world differently. Suddenly everything felt like a music video waiting to be created.

From that day on, I filmed everything—family gatherings, friends, vacations, and everyday moments. I couldn’t get enough of telling stories through a camera. When I was 15, my mom came home from work and told me she had booked me my very first wedding. She promised she’d come with me to help. Looking back now, 23 years later, I’m incredibly thankful she believed in me before I believed in myself.

Over the years I’ve filmed and photographed just about everything imaginable. I spent five years working alongside my dad filming boats and marine companies, traveling around the world and learning what it takes to produce high-end commercial work. That experience taught me so much about filmmaking, lighting, storytelling, and working on professional productions. But no matter where I traveled or what I filmed, I always found myself coming back to weddings. There’s something incredibly special about documenting real moments as they naturally unfold. The tears, the laughter, the hugs, the quiet glances—those moments can’t be recreated. Knowing that our work becomes part of a family’s history means so much more to me than creating a commercial or advertising campaign.

By the time I walked out of

Knowing that our work becomes part of a family’s
history means so much more to me than creating a

Carson and I were both born and raised here in the
Florida Keys. Our families actually knew
each other long before we ever met, but
somehow our paths
didn’t cross until about eight years ago.
One day while Carson was showing me old
family photo albums,
I discovered photos of my own family inside them.
It was one of those moments that reminds you just
how small the Keys really are
and how life has a funny way of bringing
people together.
Before weddings, Carson spent some time
filming skateboarding videos
with his friends. They’d spend hours
filming tricks and editing videos just for fun.
At the time, he never imagined those
skills would one day become part of our business.

-How We Became a Team-

A couple of years after we started dating, one of Carson’s friends asked if I could photograph their wedding. Carson decided to bring along a GoPro and filmed throughout the day while I focused on photography. When I got home and
started editing, I realized he had captured all the little moments I hadn’t
seen while photographing. Together, those clips created a beautiful highlight.
That’s when everything clicked. I realized Carson had a natural eye for
storytelling, and from that day forward we became a husband-and-wife
photography and videography team. Today we work seamlessly together
because we each know our role. While I focus on being creative and
capturing the emotional moments throughout the day, Carson keeps everything running behind the scenes. He organizes our equipment, carries and sets up
our gear, captures additional angles, and makes sure every technical detail is
taken care of.

He’s also responsible for recording clean, professional audio during your
ceremony and speeches. We work closely with many of the DJs throughout
the Florida Keys, allowing us to connect directly to their sound systems
while also using discreet microphones to capture your vows and
heartfelt moments with the highest quality possible.

After your wedding, I personally back up every photo and video in multiple
locations before beginning the editing process.

Working as a husband-and-wife team allows us to move naturally throughout
the day, anticipate each other’s next step, and stay out of one another’s way while capturing every important moment from multiple perspectives.

Looking back, I never imagined that the little girl learning to edit shark
footage at 13 years old would one day build a career documenting love
story alongside her husband. We truly feel honored every time a couple
trusts us with one of the most important days of their lives, and we can’t
wait to tell your story next.
